Ceg Designs was founded in 2018 in the heart of Cardiff with a simple mission: to deliver exceptional graphic design that makes a real difference for local businesses. What started as a small studio in Cardiff Bay has grown into one of South Wales' most respected creative agencies.
Our name, "Ceg" — meaning "mouth" in Welsh — reflects our belief that great design speaks volumes. We give businesses a visual voice that cuts through the noise and connects with the people who matter most.
Today, our team of six talented creatives work with businesses of all sizes across Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, and beyond. From independent high street shops to growing tech start-ups, we bring the same passion, attention to detail and strategic thinking to every brief.

Creative Director & Founder
With over 15 years in the industry, Rhys founded Ceg Designs to bring world-class creative to Welsh businesses. A Cardiff Met graduate with a passion for brand storytelling, he leads the creative vision across all projects.
Senior Graphic Designer
Megan specialises in brand identity and print design. After honing her skills at agencies in London and Bristol, she returned to Cardiff to join Ceg Designs in 2020. Her meticulous eye for detail brings every project to life.
Web Designer & Developer
Tom bridges the gap between design and code. A self-taught developer turned designer, he creates responsive websites that are as beautiful as they are functional. Tom has been with the team since 2019.
Digital Marketing Designer
Sian creates scroll-stopping social media content and digital campaigns. With a background in marketing and a degree in illustration from USW, she understands both the creative and strategic sides of digital.
Junior Designer
Owen joined the team in 2024 after graduating from Cardiff University. He brings fresh perspectives and boundless energy to every project, with a keen interest in motion graphics and packaging design.
Studio Manager
Carys keeps the studio running smoothly. She manages client relationships, project timelines and ensures every delivery meets our high standards. Her organisational skills are the backbone of the business.
Rhys Hughes launches Ceg Designs from a shared workspace in Cardiff Bay, taking on freelance branding and print work for local businesses.
Tom Jenkins joins as web designer, expanding our services to include website design and development. We move into our first proper studio.
Despite the pandemic, we double our client base by pivoting to digital-first services. Megan Evans joins the team from Bristol.
We pick up our first industry awards, including Best Brand Identity at the Welsh Design Awards for our work with Cymru Coffee.
The team grows to six with the additions of Sian, Owen and Carys. We relocate to a larger studio at Neptune Court in Cardiff.
With over 350 projects delivered, we continue to grow while staying true to our roots: crafting bold, purposeful design for businesses that want to stand out.
